XGPON/GPON EDFA with WDM Multiple Optical Outputs

/Overview/


ACI’s ED5219LXGT-16 series is a low noise, high performance, FTTP high power, multi ports

optical amplifier with gain spectrum band within 1540 nm ~ 1560 nm. Each output port for optical

amplifier has built in well performed CWDM. Every external uplink optical port of optical

amplifier can connect with OLT PON port very conveniently. Each 1550 nm output optical port

multiplexes with 1310 nm / 1490 nm GPON or 1270 nm / 1577 nm (XGPON) data stream, in order to reduce the quantity of component s and improve the performance index and reliability of the system. It also has a built in 2x1 optical switch for 1550 nm input back up redundancy. ACI

ED5219LXGT 16 optical amplifier can be compatible with any FTTx PON Technology. It offers a

flexible and low cost solution for three wavelength integration in a Fiber to the Home network

High Power EDFA with Multiple Optical Outputs

ACI’s ED5219L / ED5219LT series is a compact high-power multi-ports EDFA optical booster with gain spectrum bandwidth from 1545 nm to 1563 nm for HFC or FTTX network. It is designed for the amplification of 1550nm single channel or multi-channel wavelengths (ITU wavelength). ED5219LT model is also specially designed with ruggedized components for operation in the temperature range from -5˚C to +65˚C which is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cabinet environment. The monitoring, alarm functions and system information are provided with real time display on the front LCD panel and web browser RJ45 interfaces for SNMP management is also available , and RS232 interface for remote control is also available ( It provides fully front panel access functions including power supply connections on the front panel. It is 1 RU in height and by using a mounting adaptor , it works for 19” racks and can be installed vertically or horizontally in the cabinet.

GPON EDFA with WDM for IP(OLT) Wavelengths Multiple Optical Outputs

/Overview/


ACI’s ED5219LGT series is a high-power multi-ports EDFA optical booster with gain spectrum bandwidth from 1545 to 1563nm for HFC network. It is designed for the amplification

of 1550nm single channel or multi-channel wavelengths (ITU wavelength) with WDM for IP

(OLT) signal overlay. It has WDM devices integrated for combing GPON (IP) signals of

wavelengths 1310nm (upstream) & 1490nm (downstream) with 1550nm broadcasting signal in

the same fiber. ED5219LGT series is also specially designed with ruggedized components for

operation in the temperature range from -5˚C to +65˚C which is suitable for both indoor and

outdoor cabinet environment. The monitoring, alarm functions and system information are

provided with real time display on the front LCD panel and web browser. RJ45 interfaces for

SNMP management is also available, and RS232 interface for remote control is also available

(option). It provides fully front-panel access functions including power supply connections on the
