1002 MHz CATV or LAN Amplifier
/Overview/
ACI’s A8K-FDA amplifier module has been designed for use in both CATV headend and broadband local area network (LAN) applications. The FDA module is based on ACI’s A8K Transmission platform may be used in any network with a bandwidth requirement of 45 to1002 MHz. In two-cable networks, it is designed to operate in a one-way mode. Both gain and slope can be adjusted electronically through PCM controller on the A8K platform. The gain control is available for gain adjustment from 0 to 20 dB per 1 dB steps. The slope can be adjusted
from 0 to 10 dB. RF input level can be adjusted by plug-in pad on the rear panel. Directional coupler test points are available on the front panel to monitor the input and on the rear panel to monitor the output RF levels. On the rear panel are RF input and output ports with F- type connectors.
